Monthly Charity Donation

Our June Charity is Campaign D

Campaign D was born from five friends who met and wanted to change society’s misconceptions about autism.

Campaign D is more than a campaign—it’s a movement and it’s personal! It’s about putting individuals with Autism out front. It’s about sharing our voice and our experiences. It’s a movement to embrace the change of stereotypes. It celebrates the unique person and each diagnosis. It’s a chance to say, “This is me, and this is how I feel.” Autism does not define you, it’s just one piece of the puzzle.

September – Camp Get-A-Way

Camp Get-A-Way is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the mission of strengthening and supporting families of children having an emotional, behavioral, or mental illness. The concept for the camp was developed by parents living in the WNY area to offer whole family opportunities for recreational and skill building activities while living with a child with an emotional, behavioral, or mental illness disability. Offer families the chance to rediscover the joy of being a family without the worry of discrimination or the stigma associated with mental health issues and allow parents to connect with and support other parents faced with similar challenges.

June – Lakeshore MOPS

Here at MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together, face to face. That’s why we rally women to come together in their own neighborhoods and help each other through this thing called motherhood, one gathering at a time.

Our acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” because we began in 1973 when a group of moms of young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past forty-five years, MOPS has expanded our reach to include moms with older kids, partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 60 countries.

We have foster homes across Western NY. We also strive to educate the public about the importance of Spay/Neutering, basic obedience, and care of their canines.
